Angelique & Dan’s Elegant Engagement Session at the Alderman House in Fort Myers
Angelique and Dan are not only a wonderful couple, but also dear friends of mine, and I couldn’t be more honored to be part of their journey. We recently celebrated their engagement session at the beautiful Alderman House in downtown Fort Myers—the very venue where they’ll be tying the knot this coming February.
First designed by high-profile architect Addison Mizner in 1924, the Alderman House showcases a Mediterranean Revival style with Spanish architecture, retaining its original appeal alongside a timeless charm. With its rich past, it is also recognized on the National Registry of Historic Places, making it one of the most iconic venues in Southwest Florida. The combination of historic architecture and lush tropical gardens provided the perfect backdrop for photographs that felt both organic and editorial in style.
Angelique looked absolutely stunning in a silk dress, while Dan opted for a classic black tux—an elegant pairing that elevated the entire session. The atmosphere of the Alderman House paired with their style created timeless, true-to-color images that reflect both the romance and sophistication of their relationship.
As a South Florida wedding photographer, sessions like this are such a joy to capture. Angelique and Dan’s engagement photos are a perfect glimpse of the beauty and excitement we’ll see on their wedding day. If you’re dreaming of a venue in Fort Myers, Naples, Sarasota, or anywhere in South Florida that combines history, elegance, and charm, the Alderman House is truly a breathtaking choice.
I cannot wait to celebrate their wedding this February and capture even more of their story in this stunning space.
